Kerala Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Cochin – Kumarakom (2 hrs)
On your arrival at the Cochin Airport/Railway station, our representative will receive you and drive to Kumarakom. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Spend the day at leisure. In the evening, enjoy the beautiful backwaters of Kumarakom. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Kumarakom
After breakfast, set out for sightseeing in and around Kumarakom - a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. The stretch of backwater spans over 900 sq. km. This quaint hamlet holds onto tradition, with locals adhering to their old ways. You can choose a canoe, motorboat, or houseboat (at an additional cost) and immerse yourself in the beauty of this backwater paradise. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Kumarakom – Alleppey (Houseboat)
Early in the morning, around 6:00 AM, proceed to visit the bird sanctuary. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (1 1/2 hours). Upon arrival, check into the houseboat for an enchanting backwater cruise. Alleppey, a charming town bordered by the Arabian Sea to the west, has an extensive network of lakes, lagoons, and freshwater rivers. Known for its boat races, beaches, marine products, and coir industry, Alleppey is a major backwater destination attracting thousands of foreign tourists every year. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 4: Alleppey – Cochin (2 hrs) = Departure Transfer
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and drive to Cochin Airport or Railway station for your return journey. Depart with wonderful memories of your holiday in “God’s Own Country.”
